RD80s News: Val Kilmer passes at 65

Rediscover the 80s has learned of the passing of another theatrical legend, Val Kilmer.  He is best recognized for his role as Iceman in the Top Gun movie in 1986, Jim Morrison in The Doors in 1991, and Batman/Bruce Wayne in Batman Forever in 1995 and the voice of K.I.T.T. in the 2008 Knight Rider series.

Born and raised in Clearfield, on the back roads is where I spent most of my days. Chillin' at Beef's or snackin' at Sheetz, with a couple of guys that were always good. We never caused trouble in the neighborhood. Spotting for deer never made us scared, but the fear of running out of gas made us get back there. I pulled 180s and donuts, while my friends and family think I'm nuts. All in all, it's hip to be square.
