World renowned boxer George Foreman passed away peacefully on Friday, March 21, 2025 at the age of 76.  According to a statement on social media via his family released early on March 22, 2025, the two time heavy weight boxing champ, Olympian, preacher, and entrepreneur was surrounded by loved ones.

Born and raised in Clearfield, on the back roads is where I spent most of my days. Chillin' at Beef's or snackin' at Sheetz, with a couple of guys that were always good. We never caused trouble in the neighborhood. Spotting for deer never made us scared, but the fear of running out of gas made us get back there.
