RD80s News: Bob Rivers Passes at 68

Iconic parody DJ Bob Rivers has passed away at the age of 68.

Bob Rivers most recently was heard on 98 Rock in Baltimore, MD and has been a unique broadcaster whose career began in the Pacific Northwest as a man who enjoyed bringing laughter and his push the limits episodes.

While you can read more about him at Bob Rivers, iconic 98 Rock Jock, Jason and I have shared multiple times on our Memory Jogger podcast episodes about his comical parody music, most notably the Twisted Christmas album.  Yes!  This is the very same Bob Rivers we've fondly spoken of who was the mastermind songwriter and producer of the album and various other songs.

We offer his family and friends prayers of comfort as we learn about his unfortunate passing.
