*Updated - Memory Jogger 59: Little Rascals, Stooges, and other Black & White Shows

 

Memory Jogger mystery episode 59 leads Wyatt Bloom and Brian Cave along a journey initially beginning with The Little Rascals.  Wyatt remembers 2 episodes which can be viewed here via Youtube:

While Brian remembered the Addams Family and the Lucille Ball Show.  Our mental trek led us through various other discussions which included The Three Stooges, Mr. Ed, and other black and white television shows of yesteryear, yet we were introduced to these in the early to mid-1980s.  Join us along this episode.

Update to the intro comments to help better illustrate.  Here are some pics of what Bob was talking about in his tale of canoeing with fellow classmates, cousins, and Jason:

- This is the overall route that Bob mentioned.  I'm not sure where the final end point is located for their canoe trip.

- This is the Clearfield Dam/Break that Bob spoke about along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River.

- This is the Shawville Power Station which was originally a coal fired generation plant (when Jason and I resided there) and now a natural gas generation plant (approx 2010).  The dam that the canoe trip occurred was raised up as "attempted" to be illustrated with the grayed mark.  The much higher water level was necessary for the power plant to ingest greater amounts of water for cooling purposes.

When Bob spoke about trying to get past this dam, the panels were raised up approximately 20 feet with a severe undertoe (which warning signs still remain).  Thus was very hazardous to maneuver from above the dam to the lower side of that dam.  As you may notice, there isn't much space and it is on a rather steep embankment also for the teenagers (at the time) to traverse with their canoes and equipment.
