Recurrent Events Update: 'Labyrinth' and 'Coming to America' Get Sequels, RIP J. Geils

Welcome to the Recurrent Events weekly news update for retro pop culture headlines, links, videos, and more. So how about that Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer? Actually, the only thing I've seen from it are a couple still images because I'm torturing myself attempting to not watch any trailers before I walk into the theater this December. 

Why, you ask? I guess it's because I basically want to see if it can be done. I'm so plugged into pop culture (for obvious reasons) that I want to see if I can avoid any motion imagery and come into the film right where Episode VII left off. For a fan like me, I'm not sure I can hold out or avoid even the smallest spoiler, but I guess we'll find out!
