Recurrent Events Update: 'Escape From New York' Remake Lands Original Director, 'Ghostbusters' on Playstation VR, Netflix Motley Crue Biography

Welcome to the Recurrent Events weekly news update for retro pop culture headlines, links, videos, and more! This week marked the 4th crossover event for The 80s League and I really had fun coming up with my favorite (or most-hated as a kid) #80sMovieVillains. We are slowly adding new members each month so be sure to explore all the great websites and podcast that love the '80s.

I've almost finished my journey to rewatch the original G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero series and once again invite you to follow @GIJoeIsThere on Twitter.
