Welcome to the Recurrent Events weekly news update for retro pop culture headlines, links, videos, and more! Christmas is only a couple weeks away so be prepared for more holiday articles and links from RD80s and our friends. A little reminder that coming this Thursday Dec 15 we'll be featuring a new article and Memory Jogger Podcast as a part of an '80s Christmas collaboration. We'll be telling you about out Top 3 Gifts we received as kids in the '80s (a few more in the podcast) along with 80s Reboot Overdrive, Return to the 80s, Weegie Midget, and Killer Kitsch.
I also wanted to invite all my fellow bloggers to enter the Retrodaze Christmas Article contest between now and December 20. Top prize is a $750 Amazon gift card! Lee and Linz over at Pop Rewind will be judging the contest and have all the details. I've submitted my article and will share on social media when it goes live. It's all about Christmas 1985 and my first camera which was a present that year.
Here are some recent RD80s articles posted in cased you missed them:

The new Ducktales series is coming next summer! The Disney television animation news YouTube channel debuted the following teaser this week and says the 1st season will consist of 21 half-hour episodes and two one-hour specials. As long as they keep the theme song (which sounds like they will), I'm on board for checking it out!
Here are your Recurrent Events links for Dec 10, 2016!
