Paul Feig's new Ghostbusters film won't be the only one in criminal violation of the Environmental Protection Act on July 15, 2016. Debuting the same day on Netflix is the crowdfunded documentary Ghostheads showcasing the legacy and fandom of the Ghostbusters franchise. The film includes interviews with cast members and creators both past and present along with several inspiring stories from fans.
Thanks to crowdfunding campaign through Kickstarter and IndieGoGo, the film was able to complete production following a rough cut shown at this year's Tribeca Film Festival. The film is directed by Brendan Mertens and produced by Tommy Avallone (I am Santa Claus) and Lee Leshen (Back in Time.) Adam F. Goldberg of ABC’s The Goldbergs is also co-producer.

You know I absolutely love documentaries on '80s culture so I will be watching Ghostheads on or near it's release on July 15. With Ecto Cooler coming back and all the new merchandise, I'm not sure I can take anymore Ghostbusters announcements this summer!
