Rediscover the 80s Podcast Episode 2: Show Notes and Links

New episode! New episode! New episode! The Rediscover the 80s Podcast finally returns with new topics and a new panel of guests. I was able to keep episode 2 under 90 minutes which was a goal I shared in last week's update. Shortening the episode means we'll also get to hear 6 more topics with the same panel in the next episode!

Our panel for episode 2 includes 5 new guests and 4 returning from the pilot episode. Here's who you will be hearing on the podcast:

Topics for episode 2 include:
  • Movies: Raiders of the Lost Ark
  • Wapner's Revenge: 24 hours of solitary confinment with "Mickey" or "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" music videos on continous loop.
  • Toys: Did you play more with the Rubik's Cube or Simon?
  • Television: Miami Vice
  • Do You Remember?: The first time you played the Nintendo Entertainment System
  • Food: Which breakfast cereal would you bring back?

    Even with the first episode being long, I didn't really care because I could probably watch I Love the 80s on loop for days, as long as every show was new content. The format is awesome because it sucks you in to think about your experiences.

    Great show, looking forward to the next one. I don't know if I'd be any good but I'll be sending an email for panel consideration. :D
