Those of us who were born in the 70s and grew up in the 80s have been referred to as the "Me Generation of the 80s." This distinction is mainly used to describe the high self-esteem placed on us from childhood through our school years. The "keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars" attitude seemed to blanket us and made us strive more for our dreams. For this playlist, I set out to find just how many songs had "me" in the title. It seems there were many subliminal "me" messages communicated through music in the 80s because I found well over two hours worth of songs! Feed your self-esteem and enjoy the Ultimate 80s Me Generation Playlist.
